WFTUCONDEMNSVIOLATIONOF PEOPLE?S LIBERTIES IN UKRAINE
The World Federation of Trade Unions -WFTU- condemns the recent arrest of Ukrainian deputy of Alexander Bondarchuk - People's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and activist, chief editor of the newspaper "Working Class".
This last incident in one more episode in the series of authoritarianism, state terrorism persecution, trade union and democratic rights violation conducted by the government of Ukraine, who?s sponsored by the US, EU and other imperialists. The WFTU, an organization representing 90 million workers in 126 countries of the world demands that the Ukrainian government stops all persecution against activists of trade union and popular movement and that democratic and trade union rights and liberties be respected.
The WFTU solidarizes with the workers and the people of Ukraine and supports their to fight against imperialism and capitalist barbarism.
